Uplook July, 20, 2024
Dear Seattle Saints,
Greetings once again from Seattle. I had thought I would try to communicate during my time at our annual Camp meeting Convention but the schedule proved to make it problematic. Thank you for your understanding.
As most of you may know, this year’s camp meeting was historic with the transfer of the leadership of our worldwide Apostolic Faith Church work from Rev. Darrel Lee to Rev. Olasola Adesope. Bro. Lee had served as the Superintendent General for 24 years and will now continue in an assisting role. Bro. Adesope is well known by us in Seattle as he has been the pastor of our sister congregation in Pullman for over 10 years. Please pray for both of these fine godly men and our churches around the world during this time of transition.
We were also privileged to have each of the national directors for East Asia in attendance at the camp meeting along with their spouses which was a blessing indeed. Beyond that we were privileged to have a number of saints and pastors from our churches in South Korea as well as many from other places around the globe.
We are still in the midst of summer travel with many of our young people and some adults slated to be at our annual Youth Camp beginning July 22. Lori and I will be attending our Korean Camp meeting from July 29-Aug 4 and Bro. Taiwoo will join us there while working in Korea. Please pray for these events as well as the many other camps around the world.
And lastly we will be saying goodbye within a month or two to several of our college students who will be studying out of town but also welcoming some new ones who will be studying in Seattle. It is our prayer that God will go before them all as they live for Him in their new surroundings.
Sunday Services will resume tomorrow and Wednesday Bible Studies will resume on August 14. We will once again be streaming these services. We are looking forward to seeing you all again.
God Bless
