Happy Saturday,

Greetings from Medford Oregon where Lori and I are spending a few days with our son’s family. Baseball is in the air here and I was thinking a bit about how much timing plays a part in baseball.  The different speeds of pitches and the angles outfielders take to catch fly ball's all depend on timing.

There are some things in the gospel which also depend on timing.  When we speak comfort to the weary or discouraged matters.  When we hold our tongues matters. When we preach matters.  May the Lord help us all to ask the Lord to help us in all these areas.  

And speaking of preaching, please pray for Bro Howard Wilson who will preach in Seattle tomorrow morning as well as for me as I preach here in Medford. God bless you all.
