Happy Saturday
I am writing from the University of Washington Husky Stadium where we are celebrating the graduation of two of our beloved saints.
We celebrate in a variety of ways including birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations all of which are filled with joy. Leviticus also speaks of celebrating in several ways. The first is on the Sabbath on a weekly basis. We also gather weekly in the house of the LORD for the same purpose. It goes on to speak of celebrating with annual festivals (at least three every year). We do the same with special meetings and in just a few weeks, camp meetings which provide the best opportunity to celebrate all the LORD has done.
May we learn afresh to celebrate with “joy unspeakable and full of glory”.
